Tuesday, November 1 @6:30 PM ~ Afraid of public speaking?  Looking to improve your communication skills at work?  Come join us as we improve our speaking and leadership skills in a friendly, supportive environment.  The Conestoga Toastmasters Club offers SPEECHCRAFT,  a FREE six-session workshop which teaches basic public speaking skills.  This workshop would normally be offered for over $100, but the Club partners with the Library to provide it FREE of charge.  However, a $40 deposit to hold your place for the 6 sessions and refunded upon completion of five out of six sessions is required at the first session.  Register for all six sessions by calling the library, signing up online or informing us at your next visit...



Wed., October 26th from 10 AM - 5 PM ~ LC Office of Aging, represented by Bev Via, will provide assistance with MEDICARE OPEN ENROLLMENT .  These one-on-one appointments are for those who already have Medicare and are currently enrolled in either a drug plan or Advantage Plan and they want to compare with plans available in 2017.   Register for this valuable workshop by calling the Office of Aging at 299-7979 and ask for Bev Via (APPRISE coordinator).
