CALLIGRAPHY ARTIST RECEPTION

Saturday, February 7th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. - Meet and greet the artists of the Philadelphia Calligraphers' Society who are displaying their various letter styles and bright eye-catching artwork.  Demonstrations and free bookmarks, beautifully inscribed with your name, will also be offered at the Artist Reception. The Calligraphy Exhibit will be on display with pieces for sale from February 3 through March 14 .

AUTHOR PRESENTATION AND Book Signing -

Tues., Feb 10 @  6:30 PM - As a complement to our OBOC programming for Orphan Train by Christina Baler Kline, Donna Nordmark Aviles speaks about the history of the Orphan Train Movement.  Ms Aviles, granddaughter of rider Oliver Nordmark and the author of award-winning books, Fly Little Bird! and Beyond the Orphan Train is a member of the Delaware Humanities Forum Speakers Bureau and a frequent speaker at genealogical societies, libraries, schools, book clubs, etc.  Her one hour interactive presentation includes audio recordings of Oliver Nordmark talking about his experiences and adventures.  A book signing is offered at the conclusion of the talk.  Don't miss this informative One Book One...
