Deadline to Register for Golf Challenge EXTENDED to May 15

Golfers will enjoy an afternoon of fun and competition on Friday, My 18 during the 3rd Annual FORE the Books Golf Challenge. The event will begin with a patio grill lunch followed by a 1 PM shoot gun start. The format of play is a scramble. A casual BBQ dinner in the Morgan Center at the library will conclude the challenge. All proceeds raised from the event will benefit the Manheim Township Public Library Foundation. 

Network with community leaders, business owners and patrons of the library while you enjoy 18-holes of golf at scenic Overlook Golf Course.  A Hole-in-one contest will feature a brand new Mercedes-Benz and other prizes.  A 50/50 raffle will also be held.

Programs Geared Toward Boomers & Older Adults Begin at MTPL

The Manheim Township Public Library announces special programs and events for boomers and older adults called Senior Spaces. The Senior Spaces project has been partially funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technologies Act (LSTA) as administered by the PA Office of Commonwealth Libraries. Upcoming programs include:

·        May 17 @ 10:30 AM -Cooking & Conversation with Chef Jeff -- Join the fun and learn a simple and tasty recipe with Lancaster Newspaper Food Columnist, Jeff Thal. Held in the library’s teaching kitchen!
